Manipulatives & Resources

 

Below you will find links to sites that include virtual manipulatives that can be used for explicit teaching, small groups or individual work. You will also find links to sites with blackline masters that can be printed or copied and used with an Interactive White Board. Finally, you will find links to sites with suggested activities for various manipulatives and tools.

As shown in this picture, this website has organized virtual manipulatives by grade level and strand. NLVM has a large quantity of manipulatives available for various math concepts.

ABCya!

This website provides interactive manipulatives for fractions, decimals and percents (strips, circles). It is helpful for activities related to representing, comparing and equivalence.

This website has clearly labeled, bright manipulatives to use including geoboards, pattern blocks, spinners and various fraction tools.

On this site, select your grade (Kindergarten to Grade 8), then choose the manipulative you would like to use from the drop down menu, as shown in this picture.

This site has a few manipulatives available, as shown in the picture. Simply click on the one you would like to use and get started.

Blackline Masters:

 

Blackline Masters can be used for lots of purposes in the classroom to support learning. The following sites provide lots of Blackline Masters that can be printed & laminated or cut & copied to use on the computer or devices.
